Welcome to the new custom division of Drum Paradise. Previously offering only general drum maintenance, Drum Paradise now has a complete “in-house” custom shop. Services include Re-covering, Painting, Plating & Engraving, as well as Bearing Edges & Repairs.
Chris Johnson’s experience and expertise in music production since 1985 made the aquisistion of Drum Paradise and addition of the Custom Shop a natural. Our photo gallery has examples of snares built during the DrumSmith Custom Creations era (1991-2000). Although that badge has been retired the same dedication to craftmanship & detail is available through the Drum Paradise Custom Shop.
We currently build a small number of snares for purchase each year. They include 1 piece maple shells & ‘Signature’ 10ply w/10ply reinforcement rings. Drum Paradise finds that the 10/10 ply shell has more of the desirable characteristics found in one piece shells, at a substantial reduction in cost. Call to see what’s available.
